please tell me how to turn off the footers in FC? the clock and date, quick filter, i only want the size but that is optional, don't see it in view menu where i have already turned off everything. thanks!

Uncheck this option to disable the Quick filter bar:

i turned off quick filter and as soon as i type a letter in the list it pops back up again and beeps at me - how do i disable it?

i removed all items in the list you showed me but the status bar remains with most of the same items on it.

You're referring to the Quick search (see your other topic).

I don't know how to completely disable the status bar, but if you want only the selected item's size displayed, edit that field:

thanks again - i was able to delete some items and make the text 1 line but the status bar unfortunately did not get smaller - i'll just leave this up as a request to hide the status bar - thanks!
