please tell me how to hide file extensions, primarily .lnk - i'm trying to get this to look like windows explorer from win7 and it's too wide with the extra characters. thanks!

If you're using the Details view, you can hide the extension from the Name field:




Optional, you can add a separate Extension column:

i need to use list view so the items show up as small as possible under multiple columns - ok wish list for the "no extensions" feature to be under list view as well as detail view - thanks!
