when trying to disconnect removable drive such as USB, it won't actually disconnect. it. The light on the USB device is still lit and it is shown in the drives list bar (above file list).
You can also see the device connected when clicking the "safely remove hardware" icon near the date/time.

the device is disconnected completly only after using the above icon (and then the light on the device is also off).

Version: 2008.6.0.317 beta on Windows XP SP2.

I have a similar issue in that I am unable to eject a USB device when that device is highlighted.

What I need to do is take the focus off the device then do the eject This only works when "Show system icon on drive" for removable drives is sent to fixed.

If the above option is set to extracted or registered, I have to close FC before ejecting the drive.

I am using version 2008.6c (2008.6.0.382) on XP SP3 and SP2.
