658 and prior: Occasional filename/ext contents "switch"

Sometime when I restore XE from the minimized state, the file panels display with the name and extension columns' values switched.
The columns are in the correct places, their contents are not.
Refresh fixes the problem. The issue occurs only occasionally, but for both 32 and 64 versions and observed in Windows XP, 8, and 8.1:
