Currently, if I set a panel's location to a unc path. (Folder, go to folder, unc path) or Alt-G, then try to open a dos box in that unc pathed folder, FC will open the dos box in c:\windows of the local computer. I know about the registry setting for disableunccheck and have it set already. xyplorer can do this unc dos box just fine, but I'd prefer FC.

I'm suggesting that the dox box function be changed so it opens a command window in the unc pathed folder. If you can suggest some workaround in FC configuration, I'll try that.
