How to set desktop view settings to large icons as default

I have detailed as my view settings for all my folders. I was wondering if there is a way to set only the desktop folder's (0-drive in drive bar) view settings to large icons automatically. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not that I'm aware of. I believe view settings are tab related, not folder related. That is, you open a tab set the view, and no matter what folder you open while in that tab the view setting remains. You can open multiple tabs and set a different view for each tab if you'd like.
