On XP (I haven't tested Win 7 yet) when I copy a file into a zip file and I have the options set to ask to overwrite file, it doesn't ask, it just overwrites it. This can be very dangerous. Please fix ASAP.

Confirmed in FC XE 639 on Windows XP SP3. Problem is NOT only with zip archives, but even with other supported types like 7z.

Unfortunatelly I can not implement it for the current version. I plan the final version in few weeks and the time is to short for that.
I can only - for the pack operation - set the "Overwrite decision option" to "Overwrite all" and disable the choice of the options.

Hmmmm, it's not the best solution. Even as a temporary fix. Not everyone will pay attention that for the pack operation "Overwrite decision option" is set to "Overwrite all" and could not be changed.

I agree with Timon. Overwriting data that one is not aware of WILL cause irate users.

I agree, it would be better to have the possibility to choice the option for "Overwrite decision" but till today all versions of FC works with "Overwrite all" option. So I think it is no surprise for the users.

"No surprise to the users." You gotta be kidding. It was a surprise to me when I lost my data:(
