A setting to ensure tab lines keep their vertical position?

#1 Post by seanblatt » 17.09.2013, 04:35

Hi all,

I have a quick question to ask.

At the moment, under my (mostly defaults) configuration, when one selects a different tab the tab line on which that tab is located moves down to become the bottommost visible tab line.

Is there a setting to make it so that tab lines that are visible in a Multi-Line tab configuration keep their current vertical positions when one moves focus between tabs on different tab lines?

Thanks by the way to the author of FC for creating such a great software :D

Cheers,
Sean

I'm not sure if I understand, but I think it's the "bold" option, here:

Settings > View > Folder tabs > Tab colors > Bold active tab (disable)

Hi Dreamer,

Thanks for your reply but I don't think that's the option I'm looking for.

When I disable that option the selected tab line is no longer bolded but it still moves vertically whereas I'm trying to find an option whereby the line stays fixed.

Cheers,
Sean

OK, please try this one:

Settings > View > Folder tabs > Tab General > Tab position > [ ] Multi-Line
