Thumbnail (& icon) issues ...

Previous to this thread I posted here» Thumbnail bug(s) about FrC thumbnails.
I recently acquired my 1st WebCam & (currently) use the NirSoft WebCamImageSave ...
sometimes I have WCIS set to take a photo every second (like a photo-shoot).
FrCXE .609 (I just downloaded .621 today ... is there some/where/way
to register to be notified about new "free" XE ßeta releases?) did/does not handle
all those jpg files well at all ... I set XE to thumbnail view (& maybe only 1 pane) ...
XE refreshes (or tries to ...) the jpgs with every Pg/Up/Dn but often
the "refreshed" jpgs are not the actual image but the same image repeated over & over ...
(OK ... I (still) have/use XP and laptops from the previous decade but ...
... xplorer² - for example - does not have this problem ...)
XE also refreshes all icons in a directory/folder with every Pg/Up/Dn
which seems like a(n unnecessary) action when there is / has been no changes in the dir/folder ...
Other file managers (seem to) refresh thumbnails/icons 1x (&1x only)
after the dir/folder is opened until there is / has been some refresh triggering activity/action ...
