Ability to drag columns to new postions

First, I am a fairly new user, and I just LOVE this program.
Thank you very much for all your hard work and for sharing this for free.
I have one little wish --- I hope this hasn't been requested already, I didn't find anything with Search.
I wonder if in some future version you could add the ability to simply drag columns into new positions instead of having to use the "Custom Columns" setup.
Sometimes I want to have the Date column next to the Name column just for a moment to quickly sort and review, and using the Custom Columns works, but is kind of awkward.
Thank you again for your wonderful application, and I will continue to love it even if I do have to use Custom Columns
