Couple of questions

Hello, I've some questions:

1) When I set the external viewer to XNView, how do I specify it to display different image formats?

Can I set the filter to ".jpg.psd.tif.png.bmp" like how you do it with your internal viewer?

Or do I have to add a new entry for each picture format? One row for "*.jpg", then a second row for "*.psd", and then a third row for "*.tif", then a fourth row for "*.png" etc. etc. etc. etc..

Is there some faster way of doing it? Because for picture formats alone, there are like a hundred of them.

2) When I double-click on a .rar file, it does not open into its contents, like how it works for .zip files. That's really strange, because I remember .rar working in FreeCommander 2009. Is it a glitch?

Oh, one more thing. Is there some way for the user to change the shortcut of the external viewer to F3, and that of the internal viewer to Shift-F3?

Yes, you can define many extensions in one row.

For rar you need plugin, e.g. Total7Zip.

External Viewer: *.jpg;*.png;*.gif

Open rar files: viewtopic.php?t=2276#p9923

Shortcuts: Menu > Tools > Define keyboard shortcuts

Omg I spoke too soon.

I tried the Total7Zip trick (viewtopic.php?t=2276#p9923), but it does not work. When I double-clicked on a .rar file after installing the Total7Zip.wcx, it gave me a fat error message:

Archive is damaged. Open failed - Native error: 00048

In case anyone is wondering, the .rar file is not damaged, because I tried it with another file commander that shalt not be named (but starts with T and C), and it worked fine there.

It's realy strange. As in totally weird.
