Request: Shift+Drag onto Favourites Toolbar to Add Item

I was thinking how nice it would be if I could shift+drag items (programs, folders, files) onto the toolbars and get them automatically added.
That would also make it so that if there is a dropdown menu button, you could drag an item into the menu in the same manner.
