Hi.

1. Can you please add a File sort by Extension?

2. Control Right/Left arrow on a Java jar file, can it view the Jar file as a zip in the other panel?
Same request goes for a J2EE .ear and .war file.

Thanks.

Peter

Already available in FC-XE (I don't know about FC 2009). There are three options, depending on how you prefer to work:
1. View menu > Sort By...
2. Add an extension column in Settings > View > Custom Columns > Define Columns, then sort by clicking on the column header.
3. Use a keyboard shortcut. The default for sort by extension is Shift+Ctrl+F4, but I changed this to Ctrl+F4 (which by default is used for sort by type).

Thank you.

I moved over to XE from 2009.

I was able to soft by EXT finally. Thank you.

Same request goes for a J2EE .ear file. I believe .war works. .ear should also open as a zip.

3) Is there an option for sorting folders by name and show them at the top above the files? I see the below the files option.

Thanks.

Make your settings as follows: View > File/Folder List > Sorting page,
[x] Sort folders always by name
[ ] Folders at the end of the list
[ ] Folders like files
[ ] Folders like files - except for name
