oh this is a topic in the 'default keyboard shortcuts changes'
yeah, alt plus F7 isn't good for search.

Ctrl + Y Quickfilter
Alt + Y deactivate Quickfilter

alt plus y is fast (i mean on the German keyboard!!!)
because search is important and control plus f is often used I would prefer this over alt plus f7
control f is left hand digit V and II,
alt f7 means left and right hand (and left hands from mouse)
