Is it possible to add more icons on the vertical toolbar on the old version of Freecommander? I know i can use the "favorite tools" option but i want to place the icons directly on the toolbar.

peter77 - You can add as many buttons (icons) as you want, in the XE version.
joby_toss - Don't worry, you can remove any button - you can even remove all buttons if you want.

I know i can add icons on XE version but the single click on full row select doesn't work on XE version. And this is what i like in FreeCommander, it allows me to faster manage files and folder. This is the main reason i am also using total commander.

Single-click operation works in FC-XE 597 and earlier (I don't know what version it was added in).
Go to Settings > Select Items
[x] Open file with single click
[x] Open folder with single click
And of course, Settings > View > File/Folder List > General tab
[x] Full row select
