how to arrange folders according to folder size

Imagine, you could have some folders without content (for example after copying pdfs in flat screen view).
Now, by arranging folders according to their file size you could find out empty folders (without any files).
How do you arrange folders according to their size?
Thanks!

Sort by size should work, but you have to manually change sorting.
Edit: Of course, you need to activate the option to calculate the folder size ([KB] folder toolbar button).
I have an idea, but I'll start a new topic.

Try Settings > File/Folder List > Sorting tab.
Then check "Folders Like Files." It works for me as you described. (FC-XE 597 and several earlier releases).
And as Dreamer wrote, you do need to display the folder size for this to work. You can do this with the keyboard shortcut Alt + F9, or via the Folders menu > Size of Folders. It is a toggle to always display or always hide the folder sizes.

it works with menu folder/size of folder (or alt plus f9). but it does not work when only checking settings ...folders/sorting like files.
this is a handy feature because you could have empty folders.
thx
OOOPS addendum
sorting like files means, it does mix folders with files (according to their size).
therefore it works great.

CORRECTION:
I just discovered there are two options for sorting folders by size. Both require folder sizes to be displayed.
1. The default is that folders will sort as a group first, then files sort as a group.
2. If Settings > File/Folder List > Sorting tab "Folders Like Files" is checked, then folders will sort mixed among the files by size.
