Two favorite items with the same name

I use the same program in the Favorites in the root (<None> category) and sub-category. I have had some problems so I have renamed the names in root like this - e.g. "xnview" > "xnview.". When I rename the "xnvierw." back to "xnview", this program/item is moved to the subcategory where the other xnview is and that category is also moved up - so the position is changed. That workaround is OK for me, but not for normal users, so I think it should be solved somehow, if possible. Thanks.
Perhaps it's related with the other issue "Category icon is moving randomly" reported in this forum.

Edit: Bug(?) is also in the new beta 280. Just want to add that also "Show in > Toolbar" option is disabled when I remove that dot from the end of item name.
