What do you mean by "favorite sub-folders popup"? How do you open it? Thanks.

define some fav. folders, then create some sub folders. now access the "pop up menu with favorite folders".
as you see, fav. sub foders do not appear instantly.

If I right-click on a favorites sub-folder, the context menu appears instantly. Or are you accessing the popup menu by a different method? (FC XE 594, Win7 x64.)

That was a creative way to display several steps in one picture -- good job!

I tried your method of accessing the context menu, and the time required for the sub-folder contents to pop out was hardly noticeable, nothing I would call a delay.
