Hi,
seems there is nobody who has posted this bug yet.

I think there is a problem with show-grid feature.
When I activated this feature, FC's memory usage suddenly increased up to hundreds MB. I don't know exactly how large memory was used, but one thing sure is that no free RAM left. FC ate all of memory resource !

To reproduce bug :
1. In one panel (I used left), activate Show Grid (Setting-View). View is Detail View, I also activated tree view for left panel.
2. In this active panel, try to extract zip file, in my case I tried to extract 3 zip files, each +/- 40MB size. To select file I did not use NC mode, just default.

FC version : 2007 10a
OS version : Vista Home Premium
S/W to monitor mem usage : FinitySoft. and also Task Manager.

I have not noticed memory usage increase when using the show-grid feature.

I don't see any difference with grid off or on either. The only changes occur when I minimize or restore the window, and switch tabs. Then it goes up or down a couple of MB, but not enough to cause alarm (I only have 512MB of RAM, so I do still count bytes lol).

You're right. perhaps it has nothing to do with grid feature.
I reformatted my vista, and nothing strange happened when I use grid feature.
BUT,
still I encounter this 100% memory usage when freecommander windows is active. I dont know whether this is OS incompatibility problem or even Vista bug. and now I cant tell how to reproduce this bug because it happens randomly.
forget to notice, My Vista language is Japanese. 1GB RAM.
