Columns' display format and font size

#1 Post by InTheMood » 04.03.2012, 16:34

Is it possible to change display format of columns. For example; size (bytes, KB)?
Also, is it possible to change the font & font size of all the elements in FCXE? (titles, names, etc..)?

1. Yes (Settings -> View -> Custom columns)
2. No, not for all (but for many, yes).

3. Please, post XE related questions in its subforum, not here. It's easier to get an answer. Thank you!

I don't understand how to use the Custom Columns to change the date display format to Year/Month/Day format, and the size format to Bytes.

Can you please explain? Is it in the help file? The XE version does not have a help file yet, right?

The Date format is managed here:

For managing Size display:

There is no help file yet for XE.

What you are saying is that I have to select an new/additional column. I guess, this way I can display Bytes and KB and MB, all at once. I don't know how useful that is, but OK.

BTW. I cannot turn off Auto Adjust for "Name" Column. UN-ticking the check-box does not have any effect.

Maybe you should first check all settings.
Settings: File/folder list: Color/font

I'm on W7 x64.
Tried to create custom column in public release of XE, but I dont seem to be able to open the details for 'Size Bytes'. So this works only on latest bèta?
