Diacritic input fails in Quick Search

Hi,
In Spanish, vowels can have diacritics. We Spaniards type them by pressing and releasing the diacritic key (no output) and then pressing and releasing the vowel key (the vowel appears with its diacritic). FreeCommander XE's "Search" and "Quick filter" work fine with diacritics, but "Quick Search" does not. When I type the diacritic key, it immediately appears in the output as an independent letter.
I would like to have the option of hiding extensions in "List View". I realize that I can use a "Column View" with a single column of filenames with no extension, but "List View" gives multiple columns of filenames.
Great program! Congratulations
