Cannot drag zip files into FC's Trash Can

Salvete! Well, I think that title says it all. I don't seem to be able to drag *.zip files into the Trashcan inside FCXE. The cursor changes to a "no" symbol on the drag. However, I can delete them just fine from the context menu, or with the delete key.
