545 WEBDAV

Hello,

i have a shortcut in the startmenue to a webdav page which then asks for user/password. It remembers them
during the logon-session.

Now with 545 if i start FC it somehow detects this shortcut in Network Area and asks for user/password.
I don't need to have it as a driveletter in 545, i just want to have the possibilty to start without the
question. It should somehow ignore the webdav. Is there a hidden ini setting to manage this?

The Old FC didn't do this.

Holger

XE has under Settings->Drives an option "Always exclude drives".
If your WEBDAV is defined as drive with drive letter, then you can register the letter for "Always exclude...".

Hi Marek,

due to the setup of the webdav access there is no possibility to apply a drive letter. So nothing i can exclude.
At home (Vista SP2) 545 starts and ignores the webdav and all is fine.

But at Work (XP professional sp3 + IE8) i have to put in user/password for the webdav even though i have no
link or favorite in 545 to it. 545 should somehow ignore network-envirement totally on demand.
Network as drive letter is not chosen by me.

Kind regards

Holger

Could you send me the freecommander.ini used at Work?
Could you try to start FC XE with an empty freecommander.ini?
