Zip archive files displayed as folders

I have many folders full of zip files, well... they are going me crazy.

The problem is that when exploring the folder tree if I expand a folder with some zip I have the long list of that files threated as folders/directory. I know this is a standard Window tool.
... But I hate that feature.
This image I found display the problem
http://www.vistax64.com/attachments/tut ... rs-zip.jpg

I tied to remove the use of zipfld.dll from Windows (folloning instruction on some forum: regedit, and some application) without success.

Well...I don't want to manage the system roots/registry more....so...because I usually use FreeCommander to explore the folder the questio is:

Is there any flag in the options to enable/disable the display of that feature? (It looks not...)

Regards
Russell

I love you!
of course also FreeCommander!

I see also many nice options overriding the standard behaviour of windows explorer...very good.
Great job

Do you know a way to hide the "Folder Tab" on top on the toolbar?
I think it can not be possible...

If not a nice  suggestion is to fuse it with the "Drives" bar: I want olny to gain as many rows as possible to leave enought space to the folder/file view. Usually I like di hide all the bars on the top and on the bottom of the screen, they steal too much space to the real use of the software.

To hide the tabs uncheck the option: Settings->Folder tabs - Tab Management: Always keep one tab open
