FTP Instructions

Hello,
I tried to setup an FTP account in total commander, but I could not enter a name. It said "name - if you want to save:" but I could not enter a name.
When I click "FTP" on the drive menu, nothing happens.
How do you use FTP? Is there an IRC channel for this app?

It is not a forum for total commander
, but in FreeCommander you can try:
- Shift+2
double click on "New FTP connection"
define your FTP connection

Shift + 2 doesn't seem to do anything (a key combo, right?). Where do I press it? In the "main" view?

Activate the option Extras - Settings - Drives: "Show FTP as Drive".

That option was a default that came with the program. I still cannot access any FTP sites.

Oh, I didn't know FTP didn't work with the combo box. Is that because combo boxes require too many ports?
It works great with the bar. Has it been reported officially as a bug?
Is there any way to get the tree to show up while in FTP mode? I just get the file list
