R520 - quick view - display delay

There appears to be a delay between moving the cursor to a file and the file being displayed by quick view. I can understand this as it improves navigation responsiveness a lot if you dont want to look at the next file but are just moving over it to get to the one you want to view.. Is there a way to tune this delay down to zero ? I have gotten a little use to how it worked in previous fc and found it useful.
