need one click date sort toolbar icon

I frequently sort folders by date and then back to name sort. I also sort by extension... Is there a way to make a custom toolbar icon for each of those sort sequences? I do know the sort icon is there (requires selection of sequence)and I know there are shortcut keys (requires 2 key strokes) to do each... What I want is a one click tool for each of the sort sequences. Thanks for any help...
