Selection of Drives

Hello,
I have tested the latest pre alpha version of FC (20.11.2010) and I got the following question:
In the current released version it is posible to select the the mounted drives with "SHIFT" + "drive letter". With the actual pre alpha version the feature does not work any more.
Am I wrong?
Do I have to change a setting?
Does the new FC not support this feature or is it not realized yet?
