Hi,
how can I use small icons in the menu bar and in the toolbar
I use version 2007.10.0.293 (not public beta)

From the ReadMe file:
1. Big icons for toolbar available (delete FCIcons.dll if not needed)

Of course in the future I will define for this purpose an option.

Delete the file "FCIcons.dll" in the fc program folder...

Here is another way:

ToolbarBigIcons= allowed values 0 or 1; default is 0

You can just download the latest beta and the icons will be small automatically.

The solution from above works fine.
But maybe I can use smaller icons, e.g. 16???

Current small icons are 16x16, large are 24x24, but there are probably borders... I think Button size option is quite confusing (button size is changed, but not also icon size), perhaps just two options should be available - "small icons" and "large icons".

Ditto! It increases the size of the box. but does not increase the size of the Icon! That is annoying.
I need LARGER ICONS so I can see them. Larger buttons are not needed unless they increase the size of the icon.
