FTP - refresh connection when timed out

In Total Commander I can reconnect an FTP connection by simply pressing refresh (CTRL + R)
In FreeCommander, this does not work.
It seems I am forced to re-open the connection manually, and then browse to the correct folder again.
I work heavily with Unix servers, so a simple FTP refresh would be very helpfull.
