HI there,

Recently I upgraded my Free Commander, I am using now Free commander 2009.02, Windows XP SP2.

I have found that my version of FC does not access F:\. There seems to be no problem with other drives.

There are no plugins or special things used.

I tried to google it out but in no vain. Hence I am writing here. I have uploaded the snapshot of the error here :-

Please help me !!!

Thanks.

I'm on a restricted computer, and can't see your image, but what is your drive F ?
is it internal hard-drive, optical CD/DVD drive, external usb flash or hard-drive, firewire, memory card, other?

Does Device Manager tell you the drive is working correctly?

Does Windows Explorer recognise the drive?

Is it a separate drive or a partitiion?

What is stored on that drive?

What file system, FAT or NTFS?

Can you right-click on the drive button and view Properties?

*scratches head in puzzlement at interesting problem*

I am having the following error:

I cannot see USB drives on Vista or 7. Windows recognize the drives, but FreeeCommander is not allowed to see them.

Who can say me something?

Thanks.

"Joby":
I have not solved my problem.
If I execute FreeCommander on 7 nor Vista, the letter drives for USBs are not shown on FreeCommander (anf if I try "Folder - Goto a folder...", and then I type the letter for the USB drive, I receive a messagebox saying that "drive is not available").
Admin rights does not help.
Would anyone get something alike?
Can Marek say us something?
