I just changed from Microsoft Explorer to FreeCommander but I see that it is not possible to view .CR (Canon Raw format) nor .mts (AVCHD form Canon).

That's a pity because I knew FreeCommander already from the DOS versions and I was allways very fond of this program, but I always work with HD in Foto and VideoCameras.
But when I cannot see anything in FreeCommander then I have leave it again as quick as I installed it.

So I hope there will be a trick to see my files so I work further with FreeCommander.

Ich habe mich soeben vom Microsoft Explorer verabschieded aber ich habe zu meiner Schreckens feststellen müssen das ich hier nicht imstande bin om meine .CR (Canon Raw Format) und oder .mts (AVCHD format von Canon) einzusehen.

Das ist Schade weil Ich kannte FreeCommander schon aus meine DOS Zeit und arbeitete immer gern damit.
Aber ich arbeite immer in HD format beim Foto und Videocamera's.
Wenn ich aber in FreeCommander keine Bestände einschauen kann dann muss ich mich leider wieder sofort von FreeCommander verabschieden.

Deswegen hoffe ich das es irgendeinen Trick geben wird womit es doch möglich sein wird.

Why? What do you want them for? Because every Canon digital camera and Canon HD video camera work with these files! It is a standard format.

I was going to test them in FC2010pre-alfa and as I've said, I have none to test (nor HD camera, nor other .raw camera recorder). But don't bother now.

Is it already downloadeble then?

Cause I did download this copy of mine of FC only a few days ago and that is still the 2009 copy and that one doesn't show these formats.

But are you familiar with photography and or making videofilms?

I'm using WinXP.
I found some .raw files here: http://www.rawsamples.ch/
I've installed this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

FC2009 does not show thumbnails for any of them, but FC2010 showed thumbnails for some (the ones supported by Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP). For the other ones I've got an error (chosed continue there). The quick viewer is not implemented yet.
