I have tested the alpha version of the future Freecommander.
So far it looks good.
I will report any bugs found.
Good work Marek

Hi Marek,
it seems to become great! Especially the new possibilities to customize the toolbars and columns, the handling of tabs and favorite folders and the file/folder operations including FC-own-routines.

Thanks, Marek!
It moves much more "smooth" for me! (don't know how else I could describe it; doesn't freeze briefly like 2009 version when opening a folder with many sub-folders)
But...there are many features missing, so at this stage I don't know how to differentiate that from actual bugs.
For example hitting the little arrow from back and forward history buttons shows nothing.
If all the features of the "old" version will be incorporated into the 2010 version, It's gonna be even a bigger hit!
Nice job!

Nice job!
- open toolbar customization window
select the "Standard" toolbar
select the "History back" item
click on the ".." in the Details column
at the bottom of the new window select $FcPopup_HistoryFolders
make the same for the "History next" item

I`ve been waiting for the own copy/move routines and since recently moving over to x64 - Supercopier has failed, so this is great news !

Works well!
It seems I should pay more attention to the advanced settings!
I'll keep testing!
Thank you!

I wonder:
Does the 2010 release share the same INI file format/content as 2009a?
Or is 2010 completely different in terms of the INI values, labels, etc.?
Thanks
PS:
I just can't copy my 2009a INI file over into the 2010 folder and expect it to work 100%, correct?
