in NC menu to select file/folder can be done by right click.
My request is, just like in TC, if we press long right click, about 1s, it will show context menu.

I found that FC in NC mode, if right click on file Name it will select it and if right click on Size it will show menu. That's useful too

wheeqo, thanks for the tip. It works not only in the "Details" view, but also in "List" view if I click just next to the folder name.

I'm not getting how to bring up the context menu in list view as matt_pl describes, however it does work in details view.

Would still like feature(s) of opening the context menu whether it be an elongated right-click or possibly a double right-click.

You can also bring up the context menu using the Application key (on my keyboard, it's between the right Ctrl and the Windows key).
