I don't understand why all my linked files have the same "no" icon in FC, allthough the icons are ok in Explorer (folder icon for a shortcut to a folder, an excel icon for a shortcuts to an excel file,...).

Same thing for the link build via Explorer or FreeCommander !

Go to the Extras menu, Settings, View, Icons, and check the radio boxes thus:

_Show system icons on drive
___Fixed
_____x Extracted
_____o Registered
_____o Fixed

I've put all the types of icons as you recommend, and it runs !

(i don't understand the different options and why they exist, but now it's ok)
