Thumnail view crash

I switched to thumbnail view for a folder with many images and it crashed. I have selected thumbnail for speed in prefs. using FreeCommander200902 with xpsp2
Here is the exact messagebox.

Greetings.
Today I demo'ed FC 2009.02 portable.
I wanted to see if I could use FC in fullscreen
to view thumbnails of my jpg/gif files of van Gogh, Picasso & etc.
FC crashed & crashed repeatedly.
"STACK OVERFLOW" was the message ...
in case that is of interest to anybody.

So far I have had NO problems with Thumbnail view in FCXEpα ...

until this week ... FCXE crashed when I switched to thumbnail view ...
