How To: always same layout of both windows (calum width)

#1 Post by Electrixer » 06.06.2009, 14:47

Hey there,
I just changed from Total Commander to FreeCommander. And up to now I really like it! Great Job! And all for free... many thanks!

But one thing I don't find, and I don't know if it is available at all:
If I change the calum width on one side of the devided screen, I would like the other side to do the same automatically. Is there any way to do it?

Also: can I enlarge the small icons for the different drives (C: / D: / E : /...) ? I can adjust the size of the icons of the different functions and the ones in the drop-down menus, but I don't find a possibility to enlarge the ones for the drives.

Thanks in advance for all reactions to this entry.

When I started at a new company, a work colleague really impressed me with how easily and efficiently he was able to go about his day to day Windows tasks with Total Commander. I decided then that I had to learn to love TC.

A month down the line, I have found that it certainly is a great tool, but something about it doesn't sit right with me... It has never really endeared itself to me in any way, even though I have found myself far more productive.

Enter FreeCommander (thanks to Lifehacker). I immediately fell in love with this application! I want to thank the developer for a fantastic piece of software, one which I can see myself using and relying upon for years to come.

The reason for this post though is that I'd like to see the feature above which the previous poster mentioned. It is the only feature that I find myself missing from TC.
