Say I delete a file from c:\temp using explorer.exe in winXP then this change is automatically distributed to other explorer sessions viewing that folder. This does not happen using FC - here I need to manually do a refresh to see files that are added, deleted etc. Why is this?

In the Settings dialog, General, do you have "Fixed" checked under "Auto Refresh on drive"? It refreshes for me, in XP.

That fixed it.
