Plugins/detect Strng/Priority

First a TON of thanks for the Free Commander tool. This is *exactly* what I was looking for.
So I was looking for 2 things
1) Internal viewer that can show syntax highlighting
I dowloaded Syn.wlx and it seems like it would/could work.
Except tha when I press CTRL+Q then the default viewer shows up.
I have to press 'P' to activate the plugin.
I looked at the plugins configuration, I set the plugins take
higher prioroty. There is a detect string, which I don't understand
and it seems like that would be the ticket
2) Is there an internal editor too? It looks like Syn might be able to do it
but haven't tried
THANKS A LOT FOR THE GREAT TOOL
