v394 - CTRL-U causes file list to default to top entry

FC v394 and Windows XP Pro SP2
I have ChangeDirBackScrollToOldPos=1 added to the INI file.
If I have a folder list shown in one pane that is say 100 entries down into the directories. I enter that folder then Backspace out and it keeps the host folder highlighted as it should, and also retains it's visual location in the pane.
However, if I press CTRL-U to swap panes, the file list in that pane defaults to the top entry so that the selected folder is no longer shown on the screen.
If I TAB over to that pane and press the UP or DOWN arrow key, the selected folder is the proper one, but it is shown at the very bottom of the list.
It seems to remember which folder was selected and active, but it fails to properly display that entry in the same position it was before the CTRL-U.
I have noticed that the new "ChangeDirBackScrollToOldPos=1" feature losing position in other circumstances as well. It seems that somehow, the value of that variable is not being taken into account in all of the interface related functions, such as CTRL-U, or when FC loses focus (like when I double click on an MP3 file to start up Spider Player), it's not able to find its way back to where it is supposed to be.
Please let me know if you need more details.
Thanks
