Cancelling the synchronize dialog corrupts the files lists

#1 Post by homersimpson » 21.12.2008, 06:31

Hi

when cancelling the "Synchronize" dialog, in certain situations the files panes will get corrupted and show useless and contradicting information, including
- empty file names on both sides
- different action arrows on both sides (next to the file names)
- different colors on both sides (left green, right blue etc).

Using 2008.06c, Win XP Pro SP2

To reproduce:
- create a directory (e.g. "1"), put some file into it (e.g. "a.txt"), change to this folder in left pane
- create another directory (e.g. "2"), put some other file into it (e.g. "b.txt"), change to this folder in right pane
- open synchronize window
- click "compare"
- click "synchronize..."
- click "cancel" (or hit ESC)
- select / deselect green and blue arrows in the "Show" panel a few times ...

OR:
- (create files, open sync window)
- click "compare"
- deselect arrows in "Show" panel
- click "Synchronize..."
- cancel dialog
- select arrows in "Show" panel
...

OR:
- (create files, open sync window)
- click "compare"
- select all buttons in "Show" panel
- click "Synchronize..."
- cancel dialog
- deselect arrows in the "Show" panel (also happens with the arrows that have no "star"/"dot" symbol on it ... though they should have NO effect on the list because we have only files that only exist on one side ... )

Greetings
Markus
