I know that this was made as a double pane and a tree view, but how about an easier way to have one pane and a tree view. There are a lot of times that I find the 2 panes with tree view just to much info.

Yes, I do know that I can slide things around to do this, it would be much easier with a button though.

How about View/Split window or the window splitting button on the view toolbar?
