Hallo,
In the version 2006 of FC I could enter Extras\Color menu from where I had access to Font and Background pop up commands. Using them I could set black coulor for background and white for files and folders. I liked it. Recently I downloaded and installed FC version 2008 c. And there's no such menu command in it. It's very pity because it was very convenient before.
Best regards.

Thank you ralfso,
I did look at Extras\settings\colors. I have found there the settings for the color of folder and the color of files:
Hidden,
Read-only,
System,
Compressed,
Crypted.
That means if I set color for hidden files only those files that are hidden will accept this color. But my intention was to assign a color to all the files whatever attributes the have. Because most my files do not have attributes at all. And because this possibility (I repeat) was in previous versions of FC (which is my favorite file manager) I decided to consult with this forum. Please inform me if you know the solution.
My best regards.

Excuse me, I said "Colors" but I meant "Colors/Font", almost one line below this.
If I want to help in this english forum, I allways have to switch the language of FC to write the correct settings-entries and search for the asked feature, so I think it's appropriate to ask for a little bit of initiative to look for similar words.

That's all right, but I have an idea that a lot of new user (or maybe new forum-members) ask about program-settings without checking the settings-dialog.
I think it's much more helpful in understanding a software to try out each adjustment and look what happens to get a feeling of the programming-logic of the author.
For a lot of questions in the forum I'm looking for a setting which myself never looked before. And what a surprise, often there is a settingsentry with almost the same word as in the question.
That needn't relate to you, but a lot of new members suppose that a quick question is much more easier than to use the forum search or the helpfile. So a lot of questions and feature requests are repeated ten times.
So never mind about my long monologue, I'm glad that now you've found the rigth setting to change your backround and font-colors.
