Here is the problem I have when opening a drive in a new pane with an existing path in the other pane.

Imagine I open a nested folder on the left pane....example:

D > MP3 > Music > Folder1

Then when I try to open the ROOT folder of the same drive (D) in the right pane.....
then the nested path that is already in the left pane also opens in the right one.....NOT the root which I asked for.

Is this a limitation of the filesystem or something I can change ?

I guess you want to open root folder when you select drive in the other pane, not the same as in the old pane, right? If so, I have good news, there will be an option to change it in the next version, which will be released soon.

Yes, that`s exactly right....

and that certainly is good news....it must have been the right day for me to discover FC after all this time !
