I moved a large number of picture files to a new location. I didn't create a new folder first, thinking FC would create it automatically with the path given. Before moving the files a dialog box popped up asking if i'd like to replace a file with the current one. I hit "yes" and it moved the group of files over. Well, it didn't create a new folder but I now have a single file that's only 137kb in size!!!. Are my pictures gone?!.

I think I'm gonna need to use a restore point.

I restored my system to several hours prior & there was no change. Please help!.

Nevermind, I spent over 7 hours downloading them all over again! (WWII Pics).

Try softwares like recuva
