FreeCommander Forum

1. Open any Folder under Program Files or Program Files (x86)
2. Right click on any *.exe file and select "Pin to Start"
3. Nothing happens

Unpinning also doesn't work

Tested using default settings, same results

Works fine in Windows Explorer

FreeCommander XE 2025 Build 929 64-bit donor
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version 22H2 Build 19045.5854

That happens not only in FC.
Most 3rd party file mangers have this problem.
It only works with Windows Explorer.
Some apps like Open Shell have their own working context menu entry
