I have set up my active panel to have the stripe color scheme I'd like - light blue / white
However, I would like the inactive panel to be all one color - preferably a lowlight (grey) compared to the active panel.

I've experimented with the various options in Tools > Settings > View > File/folder list > Color/Font, but I don't seem able to achieve this.

As soon as I select the stripe option under Active Panel, the striping effect is applied in the Inactive panel too. Yes, it uses the background I have chosen for the Inactive panel, but I get grey / white rather than grey/ grey.

Have I overlooked a setting somewhere that would achieve this?

Using FreeCommander XE 2025 Build 920 64-bit donor

why not posting into its sub-forum.

There isn't a 'Features Request' category in the Donors' sub-forum.
I really wasn't sure whether this was a new feature that I was asking for, or an existing feature that I hadn't understood correctly.
I also assumed (!) that the answer wouldn't be dependent on the version of FreeCommander.

It is currently not possible.
I will try to add such option for the future.
