Quick search field in History and Favorite Tree

Hi there,
The heading is pretty self-explanatory.
Imagine you are searching some folder in Dropbox where you have been a few hours ago. Dropdown history list is great but then you have to manually read everything to locate "Dropbox" somewhere in the dense bunch of text. A quick search filtering would be awesome.
Imagine you are looking some folders located on D:\ drive (not sure which one) you have been yesterday. A quick search filtering would be awesome.
Imagine you have a pretty branched Favorite tree over the years. Yes, you can start to type and the cursor selects the items for you. But not always this is the best way to locate something. A quick search filtering would be awesome.
