FreeCommander XE 2024 Build 910 64-bit donor on Windows 11 64-bit

In recent releases of FC, I have encountered a sporadic error when moving a file from one window to another location (folder) in the other window. This can happen in either direction i.e. from left-hand window to right, and vice versa. It seems that the error occurs only when moving a file and not when copying a file across.

I have submitted several bug reports, and the main information about the error is:-

The file in question is moved to the new location, and if I select the "continue operation" option in the bug popup, then FC carries on as normal.

Thanks for reporting this bug, could you provide more information, please?

Are you using drag&drop or F6 to move files? Windows or FC file operations? Which file type, size?

Perhaps the file is in use?

Can you reproduce it with default settings? Yo can try portable version.

I'm using the FreeCommander move icon in the centre splitter bar. I also have the icons set there for the Windows move function, so I'll try using that.

The files in question are not open, but I will check that they are not in use by some background process, of which I have several e.g. SyncBackPro etc.

The files are of different types, but predominantly PDF, and mostly kbs in size, with the occasional 10-50 mb.
