Plan View looses its selection when Quick Filter becomes turned off

How to replicate:
#1] Create folder A
#2] Create folder B
#3] Put in one of them e.g. a test1.TXT and test2.TXT file
#4] Put in the other one e.g. test1.MP3 and test2.TXT file
#5] Switch to using Plain View mode [CTRL + B]
#6] Enter in box of Quick Filter one of the two above extension, i.e. either TXT or MP3
#7] Select the 2 visible files of the same extension
#8] Push the Deactivate Quick Filter icon or press its shortcut CTRL + Y
Result: observe how you once again can see all 4 files but your selection has been just reduced to just 1 of them
For the longest time this was not like so. In Build 901 32-bit Public Installed I still retain 2 files being selected when I turn off the Quick Filter, while in Build 910 64-bit Donor Portable I do not. This most likely has happened somewhere after Build 906. And yes: I have used the same saved Settings for both of the versions [daily used by me portable for donors and just utilized for tests the installed one for public]
